The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. For details on how user data is handled, please refer to YouTube's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. Cookies help us make our offerings more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Some cookies are “session cookies,” which are automatically deleted after your browser session ends. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies help us recognize you when you return to our website. With a modern web browser, you can monitor, restrict, or prevent the setting of cookies. Many web browsers can be configured to automatically delete cookies when the program is closed. Disabling cookies may result in limited functionality of our website. The setting of cookies necessary for electronic communication processes or for providing certain functions you desire (e.g., shopping cart) is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and smooth delivery of our services. If other cookies are set (e.g., for analytics purposes), they will be addressed separately in this privacy policy.

Google Analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider of this web analytics service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses "cookies." These are small text files that your web browser stores on your device and that enable an analysis of website usage. Information generated by cookies about your use of our website is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. The server location is typically in the USA. The setting of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize our web offering and, if applicable, advertising.

IP Anonymization

We use Google Analytics in conjunction with the IP anonymization feature. This ensures that Google truncates your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the USA. In exceptional cases, Google may transmit the full IP address to a server in the USA and truncate it there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide us with other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent cookies from being set by your web browser. However, some functions of our website may be limited as a result. Similarly, you can prevent the collection of data regarding your website usage, including your IP address, and its subsequent processing by Google. This is possible by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Storage Duration

Personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for processing no longer applies or if you object to the storage.

Objection to data collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the collection of your data on future visits to our website: Disable Google Analytics. For details on how Google Analytics handles user data, please refer to Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

Order Processing

To fully comply with legal data protection requirements, we have entered into a data processing agreement with Google. You can find the provider's privacy policy here: https://policies.google.com/?hl=en.

The provider has joined the Privacy Shield Agreement. This agreement provides a guarantee according to Art. 46 GDPR. https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant

Demographic Characteristics in Google Analytics

Our website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This function allows the creation of reports containing information about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. These data are derived from Google's interest-based advertising as well as from visitor data from third-party providers. It is not possible to assign these data to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time. This can be done through the ad settings in your Google account or by generally prohibiting the collection of your data by Google Analytics, as explained in the section “Objection to Data Collection.”

Google AdWords and Google Conversion-Tracking

Our website uses Google AdWords. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. AdWords is an online advertising programme. As part of the online advertising programme, we use conversion tracking. After clicking on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that your web browser stores on your end device. Google AdWords cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. Google and we can recognise that you have clicked on an ad and were redirected to our website by the cookie. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked across websites by AdWords customers. Conversion cookies are used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers find out how many users clicked on their ad and were redirected to pages with a conversion tracking tag. However, AdWords customers do not receive any information that enables personal identification of users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use. Here, the conversion cookie must be disabled in the user settings of the browser. This also prevents inclusion in the conversion tracking statistics. The storage of "conversion cookies" is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We as website operators have a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise our web offering and our advertising. For details on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, please see Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

With a modern web browser, you can monitor, restrict, or block the setting of cookies. Disabling cookies may result in limited functionality of our website.
